New Student Online Orientation

NEW STUDENT INFORMATION 

FALL 2020 ONLINE NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION SYSTEM WILL BE AVAILABLE 

Friday March 20th at 10am – Wednesday April 8th at 1pm

The Online Orientation is required for all NEW individuals only.

Office will be closed for Spring Break March 23rd-April 3rd.
All entries submitted during this period will be confirmed on Monday April 6th!! Please do not submit multiple entries. If you do not receive a confirmation email by 4pm Monday April 6th, please contact our office – 619-796-7015

If you have attended classes at any of our 4 Adult Schools using VA Benefit, please DO NOT complete the orientation.


If you have not already applied for VA Education Benefits, you must do so PRIOR to enrollment.

STEP ONE: Apply for benefit: 

  • Online: http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/apply.asp
  • Apply in Person at nearest VA Regional Office:
    • SD Regional Benefit Office – 8810 Rio San Diego Dr, San Diego CA 92108
  • Apply by mail in application: (Applications available at www.va.gov)
    • Muskogee Education Regional Processing Center, PO Box 8888, Muskogee OK 74402-8888

After you have successfully applied for benefit, you can expect your approval/benefit letter within 45 days of applying.

STEP TWO: Complete Online New Student Orientation

If you have not attended classes at one of our 4 Adult School locations and wish to utilize your VA Education Benefits within our program, you must complete the New Student Orientation.

This orientation is not required if you have ever used VA Education benefit at one of our 4 Adult School locations:

  • Chula Vista Adult
  • National City Adult
  • Montgomery Adult
  • San Ysidro Adult

Please read through all of the orientation information very carefully, as there is important information regarding our Program.


DO NOT COMPLETE THE ORIENTATION IF YOU HAVE ATTENDED AND RECEIVED VA BENEFIT FOR CLASSES IN OUR PROGRAM!! 

DO NOT SUBMIT DUPLICATE COMPLETIONS. THIS MAY CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO TERMINATE ALL SUBMISSIONS.

After completing the orientation survey, please allow up to one (1) full business day to receive your confirmation email of completion.
