This course is ONLY AVAILABLE TO:

  1. Students who have completed the Administrative Medical Assistant course.

  2. Those who have a current Medical Assistance license.

This course focuses on the understanding and importance of medical claims in the healthcare reimbursement process. Comprehension of legal, regulatory, and ethical issues associated with claims completion and submittal are emphasized; including compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Tuesday and Thursday/1:00pm to 4:00pm

LENGTH: 18 weeks

COST: All CTE courses consist of FREE registration and online curriculum.*

*Students are responsible for the cost of scrubs and any fees for certification and fingerprinting. Some CTE courses require students to purchase supplies and/or books.
