Prepare for a career in welding. In this course, students will build and develop advanced skills and knowledge in working with metals. Learn basic skills commonly used in everyday industrial repairs and maintenance. This course includes safety training, blueprint reading, and the following welding processes: GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), SMAW (Shield Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding). This course prepares you for the American Welding Society Certification.

DAYS/TIMES:

Monday and Tuesday/5:30pm – 8:30pm  AND

Wednesday and Thursday/4:30pm – 8:30pm

LENGTH: 18 weeks

COST: All CTE courses consist of FREE registration and online curriculum.*

*Some CTE courses require students to purchase supplies and/or books.
