Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS must meet the following prerequisites before enrolling in this class:

  • Completion of Prerequisite Class: Health Care Essentials

  • Students MUST purchase and wear burgundy scrubs to class.

  • Students MUST attend the first day of class for orientation.

Gain the skills needed to care for ill, aging or disabled patients and prepare for the California State Board Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Examination. This class includes clinical practice in a skilled nursing facility.  Openings are filled on a first-come/first-served basis. Currently, there is no waiting list.

DAYS/TIMES: Monday – Thursday/4:30pm – 8:30pm

LENGTH: 9 weeks


*COST: All CTE courses are FREE until May 2022. Fees have intentionally been waived to support students impacted financially because of the pandemic. *Minus the cost of fingerprinting when using recommended service.

COURSE IS CLOSED for this 9 week session. Registration date for Spring 2022 to be determined. More information will be posted in November 2021.
