Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

To be placed in the CNA program, you must first complete our Health Care Essentials course.

Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:45am to 6:45pm.*

*Office hours may change due to holidays or other circumstances. Go to the school website to check for changes to school office hours before visiting a school site.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS MUST meet the following prerequisites to be placed in this course:

  • Completion of Prerequisite Class: Health Care Essentials

  • Students MUST purchase and wear burgundy scrubs to class.

  • Students MUST attend the first day of class for orientation.

Gain the skills needed to care for ill, aging or disabled patients and prepare for the California State Board Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Examination. This class includes clinical practice in a skilled nursing facility. Openings are filled by students who complete the Health Care Essentials course.

COST: All CTE courses are FREE. (Students are responsible for the cost of scrubs and any fees for certification and fingerprinting.)
